EL CAJON POLICE ARREST PAROLED SEX OFFENDER IN POSSESSION OF CHILD PORN AND DRUGS

April 4, 2024 (El Cajon) — El Cajon Police have arrested a registered sex offender for possession of child pornography and drugs.
 
Alexander Ingles was homeless and living in his vehicle when officers contacted him on March 20 regarding a vehicle code violation. 

 
After learning that Ingles was on probation for possessing child pornography and selling drugs, officers conducted a compliance search and found graphic child pornography images on his phone, as well as methamphetamine in his possession.
 
Ingles is 37 years old and originally from Escondido. He was booked into San Diego County Jail on multiple felony charges and violating terms of his probation, according to Lieutenant Nick Sprecco with the El Cajon Police Department.
