January 11, 2012 (El Cajon ) – Gloria Maria Moler, 81, who was reported missing last night has been located.
“Police received a call about a wrong-way driver at 5:00 a.m.,” said Melissa Aquino with the San Diego Sheriff’s Department. “An officer detained Miss Moler and later discovered a missing person’s report about her.”
The elderly woman was not hurt and was not involved in a crash, Aquino added. “She was released to her daughter.”
Moler’s daughter, Terry Lee Henwood, had flown into San Diego late on January 9 from Washington state. She became concerned when she was unable to reach her mother by phone. She had spoken to her earlier in the day. The next morning, Henwood drove to her mother’s residence on Spring Oaks Road in El Cajon and found her vehicle, an off-white PT Cruiser, missing.
After other efforts to local her mother failed, she filed a missing persons report last night. An intensive search was launched for the missing woman, who was considered at risk due to medication she takes daily for a heart condition.
