I-80

I-80 is in Northern California. "It is a transcontinental artery running from downtown San Francisco, California to Teaneck, New Jersey in the New York City Metropolitan Area."

Old Highway 80 was US 80. The interstate highway system, built in the 50's and 60's under President Eisenhower, replaced most of the US highways. US 80 replaced I-8, US 101 replaced I-5. US 395 in San Diego became I-15, etc. US 66 aka Route 66, became I-10.
