October 22, 2010 (San Diego)-- The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male who attempted to rob the Bank of America branch, located at 6801 El Cajon Boulevard, San Diego, on Wednesday, October 13th.

At the time of the robbery, the unknown male stood in front of a teller station and slid a demand note under the bullet-resistant glass, keeping his right hand on the note. The note was written on a 3” by 5” piece of white paper. The note threatened that the robber had a weapon even though no weapon was displayed. The victim teller backed away from the teller station, at which time the robber fled the bank without receiving any money.

Witnesses describe the robber as a black male in his mid-20s, 5”5” - 5’8” tall, around 150 pounds, average build and wearing a black baseball cap, khaki colored button-down, short sleeve shirt with unidentified small print, dark-colored pant with a low raspy voice.
