FBI, SENIOR GROUPS TEAM UP TO HOST ELDER FRAUD PRESENTATIONS

December 9, 2023 (La Mesa) - In partnership with the FBI San Diego Elder Justice Task Force, the FBI San Diego Citizens Academy Alumni Association and the San Diego Seniors Community Foundation’s Senior Center Coalition will host a series of one-hour elder fraud information sessions for seniors, caregivers and neighbors. 

The programs will be held in early 2024 across the County, including a La Mesa event in East County on January 19.  Below is the full schedule:

• THURSDAY, JANUARY 4 AT 10:30 a.m. at the JFS College Avenue Senior Center  
• FRIDAY, JANUARY 19 AT 12:30 p.m. at the City of La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center  
• TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6 AT 1 p.m. at the San Marcos Senior Activity Center  
• TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 20 AT 1:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center
• WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 AT 5 p.m. at the City of Vista Senior Center
