FIRE SQUELCHED NEAR LAKE MURRAY, OTHER FIRES BURNING IN SO. CAL

June 12, 2018  -- A brush fire that started near the Lake Murray dam in Del Cerro burned one acre and briefly threatened a home late this afternoon has been fully contained, San Diego Fire Department reports.

In the De Luz area of Fallbrook, a fire that started at Conquistador road charred about six acres, North County Fire reported, putting residents on alert for possible evacuation before it was also contained.

 In Riverside County, a 100-acre fire is burning off of  Highway 71 south of Euclid.

 Another blaze, the #PortolaFire, has burned 32 acres near Beverly Hills. This fire is threatening homes, including the residence of Barbara Eden, the actress stated on social media.
