October 28, 2019 (San Diego’s East County)—The National Weather Service has cancelled a fire weather watch for Monday in San Diego County, however a stronger Santa Ana Wind event is likely Tuesday through Thursday.

The temperatures are cooling off, however, with freezing temperatures likely across the high desert areas mid-week. Lows could dip into the 20s by Thursday night and Friday morning, says meteorologist Dan Gregoria.

Red flag warnings remain in effect for San Bernadino and Riverside Counties through tonight, with a high wind warning in effect for the San Bernadino County mountains. Use caution locally or if traveling to avoid any activities that could spark fires.
