FORMER HELIX TRACK STAR ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPED MURDER OF WIFE

July 11, 2012 (La Mesa) – La Mesa-Mount Helix Patch reports that Roshawn Lamar Broadnax, 20, a former Helix Charter High School track and field star, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and spousal abuse.  

Medics were called to the 9500 block of Piedmont Street in Spring Valley Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. The suspect’s wife was transported to a hospital but is not expected to survive, Lt. Larry Nesbit with the Sheriff’s homicide unit told Patch. 

Arraignment is set for July 13 at 1:30 in El Cajon Superior Court.
