November 10, 2010 (El Cajon)—You’re invited to begin the holiday season with the warmth of friendship at Friends of East County Arts’ Annual Holiday Tea on Thursday December 9 the Ronald Reagan Community Center, 195 East Douglas Avenue, El Cajon, from 12:30 to 3 p.m.


This year’s event promises participants a stimulating afternoon of delicious tea and sandwiches, entertainment, a silent auction and raffle prizes. Entertainment will be provided by rising new vocalists Jody Bagley and Christy Phares, with accompaniment by Sally Brumfield.

Friends of East County Arts, Inc. , a philanthropic 501 c(3) organization of 100 members volunteering time and energy to further the growth and development of audiences for the visual and live performing arts and to support the fine arts and artists in the Greater East San Diego County, has contributed more than $550,000.00 to arts-based programs in the community

That sounds interesting and better still is the silent auction. The event sounds so much like the Friendship Day celebration I've seen in most places. $30 is very reasonable compared to all the fun. East County is really a great place and events are celebrated with much excitement. Thanks for sharing.
