GET SPOOKED AT HAUNTFEST ON MAIN OCTOBER 26

October 18, 2012 (El Cajon) – HauntFest on Main is a new free event taking place in Downtown El Cajon on October 26, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.  The event will kick off a week long Centennial Celebration of the City of El Cajon that focuses on the historic downtown district.  HauntFest on Main will be a family-friendly event featuring live music from over 16 bands on multiple stages.  Performers include Eve Selis, Without Au Doubt, One Eighty and much more.

HauntFest also features a classic car show (Trunk or Treat for kids), vendors, carnival rides, a haunted house, costume contests for adults and kids, laser tag, fine dining and a variety of food trucks.  The Historical Society will even have a historic haunted house.

Arts Alley will have food and wine/beer tasting provided by local restaurants, including Dowtown Café, Hooley’s, Hacienda Casa Blanca and more.  The tasting is only $20 in advance or $25 at the door. 

HauntFest highlights the vital art district in Downtown El Cajon and is made possible by a unique community collaboration with the Promenade District, the City of El Cajon, San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce, St. Madeleine Sophie's Center, service groups, galleries, and Downtown El Cajon businesses working together to provide Halloween fun for art lovers and community members alike.
