GIRL ESCAPES KIDNAPPER IN SOUTHEAST SAN DIEGO

December 11, 2010 (San Diego) – A 16-year-old girl told police that she was grabbed by a man with a handgun who told her to come with him. The attempted kidnapping occurred yesterday at 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Beverly and Roswell Streets in the Emerald Hills community, located south of Highway 94 and east of I-15. View map.

 

The suspect was described as a black male weighing about 200 pounds, 5 feet 7, in his late teens, according to San Diego Police Officer David Stafford.

 

The victim fled from the suspect and ran home, where she called police. She was not injured. San Diego Police Southeastern Division is investigating.
