August 8, 2012 (San Diego) – On August 14, book publicist Ilene Proctor will present the 52nd “Great Minds Series” event in Santa Monica.

Join bestselling author Russ Baker (Family of Secrets: The Bush Dynasty, America’s Invisible Government and the Hidden History of the Last Fifty Years, and editor/founder of the investigative news website www.WhoWhatWhy.com) for a discussion of the real differences between Obama and Romney, plus the ways in which they are similar. Baker will focus in particular on the money and foreign policy issues where no presidential nominee dares venture into new territory—and why.

In addition, Dennis Marker, best-selling author of Fifteen Steps to Corporate Feudalism: How the Rich Convinced America’s Middle Class to Eliminate Themselves, will be present.

“Read this book. Act Accordingly. Our country is in the midst of an uncivil war between the alarmingly powerful determined to destroy the middle class and the intentionally left behind,” says Proctor.  “This book serves as a counterpoint to [those] who luxuriate in denying the reality of America’s rapidly changing social landscape. We are dangerously close to cementing a permanent American catastrophe. Author Dennis Marker boldly and unapologetically asks questions and gives solutions to the media/propaganda machine.”

The late Gore Vidal, who was a guest three times at the Great Minds series, often cited Baker’s book as his authority on G.W. Bush, C-Span has reported.
