GROVE FIRE UPDATE, MOST EVACUATION ORDERS LIFTED

July 25, 2024 (Sunshine Summit) -- CAL FIRE San Diego has an update on the Grove Fire burning near Warner Springs, which was caused by lightning.
 
Please refer to the map below to see the changes made to the evacuation order and warning.
 
The red area remains under an evacuation order.
 
The yellow areas remain under an evacuation warning. Evacuated residents can return home but are strongly encouraged to REMAIN READY to leave if fire conditions change. If you need extra time to evacuate, you are advised to stay clear of the area

 
The evacuation warning will remain in place until further notice. It will be reassessed as fire and weather conditions change.
 
Please drive carefully, as firefighters will remain on scene to mitigate the hazards and strengthen control lines. Noise and dust will be present at all times during the day.
