HANNAH GBEH TO SPEAK ON CLIMATE CHANGE AND AGRICULTURAL ISSUES SEPT. 20 IN SANTEE

September 11, 2018 (Santee) – Hannah Gbeh will be the featured speaker at the East County Democratic Club meeting on Thursday. September 20 at Jimmy’s Restaurant in Santee (9635 Mission Gorge Rd.)  Dinner and social hour start at 6 p.m. with the meeting at 7 p.m.

Gbeh is an environmental impact report preparer, organic farmer, environmental science teacher and researcher who serves on the board of the San Diego County Farm Bureau.  She holds a degree in environmental science with a minor in global climate change.

 

She is also a commissioner on the County’s Fish and Wildfire Advisory Commission and is an elected member of the Jamul-Dulzura Community Planning Group.  She also founded a local nonprofit organization providing food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education to poor and disadvantaged individuals.
