July 12, 2009 (Mt. Helix) -- Tickets are now on sale for the second annual HeART of Mt. Helix, a festive summer event from 5:30 pm - 10 pm at Mt. Helix Park, atop the mountain. Local restaurants will be serving signature appetizers. The event also features a "Hometown Heroes" program, music and dancing to the Mar Dels under the stars, plus additional attractions.

“We will have a no-host bar featuring Ballast Point beers, wine and non-alcoholic beverages,” Tracey Stotz, executive director of the Mt. Helix Park Foundation, said. The event also includes silent and live auctions, a Bubbles and Bling raffle (sponsored by Enhancery Jewelers and Thornton Winery) and a program honoring Hometown Heroes. “Channel 10 News' Bill Griffith will be the Master of Ceremonies you won’t want to miss,” Stotz added. “There is nothing like watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean while listening to some nice music.”

More information and tickets are available at the park website, www.mthelixpark.org. The tickets are pre-sale only, with a limit of 500 seats.
