HEARTLAND FIRE & RESCUE HOSTS PANCAKE BREAKFAST & EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS TRAINING JUNE 10 IN LA MESA

May 29, 2018 (La Mesa) – On Sunday, June 10, Heartland firefighters of La Mesa will present a pancake breakfast fundraiser at La Mesa Fire Station 11, 8034 Allison Avenue. The event, suitable for all ages, will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Tickets are $5.00 and the meal will consist of pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and orange juice. Funds from the event will be donated to benefit the Heartland Fire Explorers Program. Tickets can be purchased at the door the day of the breakfast.

This year’s event will feature emergency preparedness training. The public can receive training in several areas: Fire extinguisher use, CPR, Gas & Electric Utility Safety, Basic First Aid, and Crime Prevention. There will be training “stations” for the public to receive the information.
