April 26, 2017 (San Diego) – Nearly 70 classic vehicles and muscle cars will be toughing it out to earn a $250 “Best in Show” prize at new East County Chamber member Heartland YouthBuild’s Cool Car Classic.

The event takes place on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the YouthBuild campus, 5280 Orange Avenue in City Heights.

Admission to the show is free.  There is a $25 registration fee for car entry in advance, or $35 day of show.

Participants and contestants are encouraged to “get up and go!”

Proceeds benefit Heartland YouthBuild, which provides immediate part-time job opportunities for 16 to 24-year-old high school drop-outs in low-income areas of San Diego while helping them earn their high school diplomas and receive free hands-on training in green building and construction building affordable homes.
