September 1, 2010 (La Mesa) - Helix Water district has received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government FInancial Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada. "This is the fourth year that we have received this award," said board member Chuck Muse.
The award recognized the District's Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009. Board president Richard Smith presented a plaque from the Association to accountant Robert Masterson and finance manager Rich Stevenson at today's meeting of the Helix Water District Board.
