HERE’S THE SCOOP: BASKIN ROBBINS ICE CREAM ROBBED IN LA MESA

December 5, 2011 (La Mesa) – A man who claimed to have a gun robbed the Baskin Robbins Store at 8807 La Mesa Boulevard this afternoon. La Mesa Police received a call at 4:22 p.m. but could not locate the suspect, who fled sound on Jackson Drive.

The suspect is described as white, 35-40 years old, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was unshaven and wore a tan long-sleeved hoodie with dark writing, blue jeans, a dark baseball cap and black sunglasses.

The investigation in continuing. Anyone with information is urged to call the La Mesa Police Department at (619) 667-1400.
