HIT AND RUN DRIVER SOUGHT IN EL CAJON: PEDESTRIAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN SATURDAY NIGHT ACCIDENT

November 1, 2016 (El Cajon) --- El Cajon Police are searching for a late model Honda Accord, grey or silver, with possible front end damage following a hit-and-run accident Friday night shortly before 9 p.m.  The eastbound vehicle struck and seriously injured a 45-year-old man who was crossing the 1100 block of East Main Street outside of a controlled intersection.

Officers from Heartland Fire Department transported the victim to Sharp Memorial Hospital. 

Witnesses could not provide a description of the driver or any passengers, said Lieutenant Royal Bates.
