November 9, 2016 (Jamul) -- This Friday, November 11th on Veteran’s Day Hollywood Casino Jamul is kicking off a military appreciation program that will honor veterans 52 weeks out of the year. Each week on Thank You Thursdays all who served our great country will receive a 20% discount on their meal in any of the eight restaurants at the Hollywood Casino Jamul property as well as 15% off at the gift shop.
To launch this celebration, Hollywood Casino Jamul is doing something extra special. The entertainment complex is offering a $10 dinning voucher to anyone that served on Veteran’s Day and also on every Thursday in November – including Thanksgiving Day. Service members just need to show their proof of service and be a Marquee Rewards Member.
“We truly appreciate the dedication of those who fight for our right to be free, and we wanted to do something that let them know that we care beyond the traditional one day Veterans’ Day celebration,” said Richard St. Jean, General Manager.
Given that many area military cannot make it home to be with their extended families, our special Thank Thursday for November is being made available on Thanksgiving Day as well!
“We felt that dining is something that we do well and that this would be a great way to honor and bring comfort to the brave men and women who serve our country day in and day out,” said George Rogers, Vice President of Marketing “This is one way that we can give back.”
To show their support, Hollywood Casino Jamul will wear “Thank you for your service” buttons and the interior message boards will honor specific members of the military and thank them for their service throughout the month of November.
