March 24, 2011 (Escondido) – Enter the Faire to at Felicita Park, Escondido, where ye will mingle with inhabitants of the "Village of Falconbridge.” There, the Age of Chivalry will be recreated amid an idyllic forested setting. Travel back to a distant place in time to share memories and glories of the reign of Her Majesty, Elizabeth I.
Visitors shall dine on a variety of foods and partake of ales and wines as they make merry during a leisurely day among the oak-shrouded Felicita Park. Dress in period attire if you wish while cheering on knights of yore battling on the village green.
A stroll through the merchants' area will give shoppers opportunities to explore an array of treasures and special finds, whether ye be needing bejeweled bedazzlements, corsets, scabbards, Renaissance costumes, dragons to delight youngsters or other unusual wares.
Felicita Park is located at 742 Clarence Lane, Escondido 92029. Festivities take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Apirl 2-3 and April 9-10.
