A recall is underway of Hyundai 2023-2024 Palisade, 2023 Tucson, Sonata, Elantra, and Kona vehicles due to an electric oil pump assembly that overheats and can cause a vehicle fire. Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete.

HYUNDAI/TUCSON/2023
Hyundai dealers will inspect and replace the electric oil pump controller, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 25, 2023.
