INTERNATIONAL GOLD MEDAL FOR HAWK WATCH WINERY

May 7, 2010 (Warner Springs) – Hawk Watch Winery in Warner Springs is the recipient of nine medals so far this year. Most recently, the winery’s 2006 zinfandel won a gold medal at the Taster’s Guild International Wine Competition.

 

Hawk Watch was also honored with a silver medal in the same international competition for its Five-Six-Seven blend. In addition, the same zinfandel which gained international acclaim at the Taster’s Guild competition also received a silver medal at the West Coast Wine Competition.

 

“The awards keep rolling in!” owners stated in a press release, adding that they hope for more to come.

 

Hawk Watch Winery, which has a tasting room open to the public, is located in East County’s mountains at 27054 Chihuahua Valley Road in Warner Springs.
