August 21, 2024 (Lakeside) -- The Lakeside Sheriff's Substation is investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital early Monday morning.
It happened just after a dreadful Sunday night and into the morning of August 19. Sheriff's Deputies were called to the 12000 block of Woodside Avenue for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a 24-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. He was taken to the hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
Based on a preliminary investigation by deputies, it appears the victim was shot by an unknown suspect in a nearby restaurant parking lot. At this time, it is not known what led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.

That's a freeway exit right how sad. well at least we know the death penalty is off the table even to get a plea out of the guy. I mean I'm assuming a man did it we don't usually hear of women from Lakeside shooting people although I suppose it's not impossible, I wouldn't want to bias your investigation but probably a man men are idiots although the shots weren't very effective so maybe s/he was female and was just collecting on a debt or something really wanted the poor fellow to suffer oh dear why well he probably did something really really bad idk or was a Nazi in a past life.
