February 6, 2011 (Washington D.C.)—The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has ordered recalls of several hazardous products including cribs that have caused multiple infant deaths, air compressors that have caught fire and damaged properties, and irons that overheat and catch on fire.

DeVilbiss Recalls Air Compressors Due to Fire Hazard
DeVilbiss received nine reports of motors overheating, including three reports of fire damage to surrounding property. No injuries have been reported. The recalled compressors were sold under the Craftsman, Delta Shopmaster, DeVilbiss, Husky and Porter-Cable brand names.

Sunbeam Products Inc. Recalls Convertible Irons Due to Fire Hazard
Sunbeam has received 17 reports of irons overheating and three reports of irons catching on fire. No injuries have been reported. The irons were sold exclusively at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Generation 2 Worldwide "SafetyCraft" Brand Drop-Side Cribs Pose Risks of Strangulation, Suffocation; Hardware Linked to Deaths and Injuries:
