October 29, 2017 (Jamul) – The Sheriff’s Department is seeking public help to find a man who burglarized a residence on Lyons Valley Road late Friday night.  When the 78-year-old resident came home to find the burglar in his home, the intruder wrestled the elderly man to the ground and escaped, taking cash and jewelry, says Detective Michael Moore.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man, about 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He wore a tan, long-sleeved shirt and tans shorts.

Deputies searched the area but did not find him.  Detectives from the Rancho San Diego substation are continuing the investigation.
