JULIAN CELEBRATES SUMMER’S END WITH MUSIC FESTIVAL SEPT. 21

September 19, 2013 (Julian) --For the 44th year, Julian celebrates the end of summer with music.  The Julian Music Festival  will be held September 21 from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Menghini Winery, 1150 Julian Orchards Road,  two miles west of town on Farmers Road (which starts as Main street in Julian). 

This year  the festivals offers a variety of music. Bluegrass celebrates the roots of this festival, Western ballads evoke tthe past and current songwriter/singers reflect the tunes heard today on MP3 players.

Tickets:

Adults  $13 in advance, $15 at the gate

Kids under 16  free,

Seniors $11 in advance, $13 at the gate.

 

A  special dinner catered by Jeremy’s on the Hill is also available:

Dinner and Festival $24 in advance, $28 day of event

Senior Dinner and Festival $22 in advance, $26 day of event

Children under 16 dinner, $10 in advance, $12 day of event

 

This is an outdoor event and although there is limited seating, you are encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs or portable seating. Coolers are allowed as well as umbrellas and sun shades.  Think of this event as a picnic in the park with music.
