Tea, Cakes and Frivolity Planned
June 10, 2011 (Julian)--Residents throughout San Diego County are invited to attend the Julian Woman’s Club Apple Blossom Tea today. The annual event, attended by people of all ages, offers a formal English tea serving with sandwiches and sweet pastries. The event also includes opportunities to win themed gift baskets.
Attendees have the choice of two seating times: 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. The club suggests a donation of $25 per person. All proceeds will go to local charities supported by the Julian Woman’s Club including groups that help women, children, schools and the environment.
Once again the popular Apple Blossom Tea will be chaired by Edie Seger, owner of Julian Tea & Cottage Arts in downtown Julian.
The Apple Blossom Tea will be held at the historic Julian Woman’s Club cottage at 2607 C Street in downtown Julian. Reservations are required. To RSVP, please call Rose Mary Gossman at (760) 765-4853.
