LA MAESTRA FAMILY CLINIC GRANTED FM RADIO STATION LICENSE IN EL CAJON

July 6, 2018 (El Cajon) – La Maestra Family Clinic, a nonprofit which operates community health centers including a facility in El Cajon, has been granted a license by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to operate a low-power FM radio station in El Cajon.

The station’s call letters are KRSA.  The “license to cover” was granted June 20, 2018 and is valid through December 21, 2021.

La Maestra’s clinics provide affordable healthcare and social services to low-income residents, who are predominantly refugees and immigrants in the organization’s locations in El Cajon, Lemon Grove, National City and City Heights.
