October 26, 2012 (La Mesa) – La Mesa Historical Society’ hosts its 2012 Centennial Home Tour on November 3, which will focus on 5 historic/classic homes in the Date Avenue/Mt. Nebo area. The event will be from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and will begin at the Shuttle Bus Stop at the City Parking Lot on the northeast corner of Date & Allison.
A showing of local art and vintage cars is also included in the tour. City Centennial merchandise will be available for purchase at the event.
Advance tickets can be purchased by October 30 from the Society at a price of $15 for members and $18 for non-members. The day of the event tickets will be $18 for members and $20 for non-members. Mail checks and participant names to the La Mesa Historical Society P.O. Box 882 La Mesa, CA 91944 or visit the Society’s archives at the rear of 8369 University Avenue on Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. Please call 619-465-1883 for ticket information.
