February 23, 2019 (La Mesa) – The City of La Mesa wants your opinions on the future of its farmer’s market. A community forum will be held this Thursday, Feb. 28 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the La Mesa Police Dept. Community Room., 8085 University Avenue.

Last year, the farmer’s market held each Friday was moved to the downtown village. While many residents and some businesses have voiced support for this change which brings visitors into the heart of the village, some businesses especially restaurants have objected, saying it cuts down on their sales on what was formerly their busiest night of the week

Come learn more on the issues, concerns and potential solutions and share your ideas.
