LA MESA POLICE HOSTING A NEIGHBORHOOD FORUM AT LA MESA DALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

May 21, 2011 (La Mesa)--The La Mesa Police Department, in a continuing effort to work in partnership with the community, is hosting a neighborhood forum on Monday, May 23, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 PM at La Mesa Dale Elementary School, 4370 Parks Avenue, La Mesa. This forum is part of a series of community forums to encourage public discussion and questions about issues specific to the individual neighborhoods within the City of La Mesa.

 

Police Chief Alan Lanning will be on hand to discuss crime statistics in the area and answer any questions. There will be short presentations on the Police Department’s response to sex offender issues and information about the duties of the Department’s School Resource Officer. Disaster preparedness information and resources will also be available at the forum.

 

This forum is designed to be interactive and enhance the working relationship the police have with the citizens of La Mesa. Audience questions are encouraged and appreciated. Please contact Lt. Dan Willis at (619) 667-7512 for questions regarding the forum.
