LA MESA POLICE SOLVE STRING OF COMMERCIAL ROBBERIES

October 15, 2010 (La Mesa) -- Warner Graves, 47 of San Diego turned himself in and was arrested for a string of commercial robberies after someone close to him saw his photo in a news release identifying him as a suspect.

 

 La Mesa Police sought public help to solve several robberies of business committed October 11 in the area of Fletcher Parkway and Jackson Drive.

 

The first burglary occurred at the La Mesa Paint and Body Shop in the 8100 block of Parkway Drive. The second one occurred at Trek Bicycles in the 8400 block of Fletcher Parkway and the third one occurred next door at the Starbuck’s Coffee Shop. All three businesses were ransacked but the loss is unknown at this time.

 

A surveillance camera captured a photo of one of the suspects in the Trek burglary, which was released to the media.
