LA MESA SUNRISE ROTARY CLUB HOLDS FUNDRAISER BOWLING EVENT MAY 10 AT PARKWAY BOWL

April 28, 2024 (La Mesa) — La Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club invites you to their FUNdraiser bowling event on Friday, May 10 from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m. at Parkway Bowl, 1280 Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon.  

 
Options include individual entry ($60), a team of four ($240), or cosmic bowling ($280 for team of four). To register, click here or scan the QR code. You can also mail a check to La Mesa Sunrise Rotary Foundation, P.O. Box 3277, La Mesa, CA 91944.
 
Each team of four will receive:
  • Two games with ball and shoes
  • Two large pizzas
  • Two pitchers of beer or soda
  • One raffle ticket
 
Cosmic Bowling: This is in a separated black light area, with flashing lights and music!
  • Two games
  • Two pitchers of beer and unlimited soda
  • One raffle ticket
  • Glo-Sticks
 
Raffle items will be displayed for you and tickets will be drawn at intervals throughout the night.
 
All profits from the sale of additional raffle tickets and entry fees will benefit services and projects sponsored by the La Mesa Sunrise Rotary Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit (TAX ID# 33-0508753) 
 
Some examples:
 
  • Scholarships for high school seniors 
  • Learn 4 Life Academy and Helix Charter
  • La Mesa Community Garden
  • Rotary’s Polio Plus eradication efforts
  • International and community assistance grants, such as: Garden project/nutrition education at Harriet Tubman Charter School, Grounds and building beautification at Harriet Tubman Charter School, Major improvements to the Canine Corners dog park
 
Funds raised may also be matched by the Rotary Foundation, or our Rotary District 5340. In this way, our individual clubs can increase our impact globally, providing drinking water wells, educational assistance, maternal and child health, environmental sustainability solutions, and conflict resolutions to assist communities far and wide!
 
Even if you don't want to bowl, you can bid on some of the services and items available to help raise funds for these worthy causes.
