“The witnesses told officers that the suspect attacked the victim with a stick shortly after an argument between the two of them,” Lt. Walt Miller says.

Investigators are trying to determine if the suspect and the victim knew each other prior to the incident and what may have led to the attack. There are no suspects outstanding.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victim or suspect.
