February 1, 2018 (El Cajon) — Two pickup trucks collided shortly after midnight this morning at Jamacha Road and East Main Street in El Cajon. A 40-year-old Hispanic man was ejected from his 2001 Nissan Frontier vehicle and died at the scene.
According to El Cajon Police, it is not yet known which driver was at fault, or whether alcohol and drugs were involved. The Frontier was traveling north on Jamacha when it collided with a Ford F-150.
The driver of the Ford was not injured.
The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of his family.
