In addition to private parties that are planned all over the county several national organiztions are mobilizing supporters to open their homes for viewing parties. To find out if there is a party in your neighborhood click on the following links.

Ultra Star Theaters will broadcast ABC's coverage of the Inauguration Festivities on January 20. FREE at many theaters countywide: Oceanside…Poway….La Costa….Hazard Center in Mission Valley and Chula Vista will Broadcast ABC's Inauguration coverage all day including the Ceremony, the parade and the entire day's events from 7am until 2pm on Tuesday, January 20 2009. Information and instruction for obtaining tickets will be at http://www.ultrastarmovies.com/ The picture and sound in High Definition/ Pure Digital format should be exquisite on the big screen. It will be free and open to the public but tickets are required and limited. Doors will open at 6:30am.
