August 24, 2019 (San Diego) - School is back in session and the Aztecs once again hit the soccer pitch at the SDSU Sports Deck for an exhibition game against crosstown rival UCSD.

No less than three minutes in, Senior Emil Kjellker tapped a nice strike in past the keeper from the left side to give the Aztecs the lead.  But just before halftime in the 42nd minute, UCSD tied it up on junior Brett Jones’ dribbler. Both teams played stellar defense and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
