March 16, 2023 (Santee) – A Santee teenager missing since January has been found safe in San Diego.
Veronica Moreno, 16, has been reunited with her family, Sergeant Matthew Carpenter with the San Diego Sheriff’s Family Protection Detail and Juvenile Services Group announced today.
No other details have been released at this time.
Moreno was last seen at her home in Santee on January 6. She ran away after an argument with her parents, according to a Sheriff’s news release sent on January 20.
The Sheriff’s Department thanked the public and the media for their assistance in this case.
