October 15, 2010 (Spring Valley) – The first annual Spring Valley Tailgate & BBQ Festival will be hosted this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. In front of Cali Comfort Restaurant & Sports Bar. Troy Street will be closed down between Bancroft and Central avenues for the event, which includes BBQ samples, family activities, a children’s fun zone, street vendors, and more.
All benefits will benefit the Los Toros Youth Football and Cheer. At least 14 local amateur BBQ teams have signed up so far to compete for $1,000 in cah prizes.
Free shuttle service will be provided from Mountain Miguel High School at 8585 Blossom Lane and from the Moose Lodge at 9062 Memory Lane.
