May 15, 2017 (Ramona) –  A Mother’s Day crash last night in Ramona killed a San Diego woman, 29, who was eight months pregnant, along with her unborn child, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Ramona resident Andrew Milonis, 44, has been arrested on charges of driving under the influence and causing death, felony hit and run, and vehicular manslaughter, says Officer Kevin Pearlstein with the California Highway Patrol.

Milonis was driving a GMC Yukon eastbound on San Vicente Road west of Arena Drive at 6:46 p.m. when he rear-ended a Dodge Dart driven by Jessica Foderingham.  Her vehicle was pushed into the center divide, striking a tree.

Milonis fled the scene in his vehicle, then abandoned it and called a Lyft driver to give him a ride to a bar, where he was later arrested.   He is being held at San Diego Central Jail with bail set at $1 million.

Her husband, Chris Fondo, a Marine, posted on his Facebook page, “It’s so hard…my life wil never be the same.  My heart, my world, and best friend, and mother of my children (while carrying our daughter) was taken from me. R.I.P. Queen Jessica Nicole Foderingham and Princess Ayanna Amari Marie Skye Foderingham….I’m not ready to raise 2 boys on my own.”
