MOTORCYCLE CRASH IN LA MESA KILLS EL CAJON WOMAN

Update: The victim has been identified a Theresa Chenelle Clouthier, according to the Medical Examiner.

November 1, 2019 (La Mesa) – A motorcycle crashed on the Severin Drive onramp to I-8 westbound at 11:19 p.m. last night, ejecting three people and killing an El Cajon woman, 38.  She was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“It was reported that three occupants were riding on a black 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster at a high rate of speed when the collision occurred,” says Officer Travis Garrow with the Caliofrnia Highway Patrol. “For reasons still under investigation, the operator of the motorcycle lost control of the Harley Davidson causing the collision.”

The Medical Examiner will release the identify of the deceased after her family is notified.

The two other occupants an unidentified male and female, remained at the collision scene briefly but fled the scene on foot prior to law enforcement arrival.  Their identities, and whereabouts are unknown, says Officer Garrow.

“Currently, it is also unknown if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this collision,” he adds.
