December 26, 2011 (Barrett Junction) – A motorcyclist has died at the scene of an accident on State Route 94 just east of Romo Road near the Barrett Café.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver was riding alone and it is unknown whether alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, which occurred at 11:39 a.m. He struck a guardrail at a high rate of speed while traveling with friends.
