November 10, 2011 (Spring Valley) – Wayne A. Bell has been arrested for attempted murder after striking his brother-in-law with his vehicle in what Sheriff’s deputies believe was an intentional act.

According to Sergeant M. McPhail, deputies responded yesterday at 12:07 a.m. to a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian at 9055 Lemon Street in Spring Valley.

The suspect backed up and drove into the victim a second time and then fled the scene.”

He was detained by deputies a short distance away on Troy Street. Both the suspect and victim were transported to local hospitals. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. Bell was treated for back pain and released. He was then book for attempted murder and other charges.
