MUSICAL TREATS AT CUYAMACA COLLEGE'S FALL CONCERT SERIES

September 1, 2016 (El Cajon) - The Cuyamaca College Fall Concert Series kicks off in September with two performances, one featuring classic music and the other showcasing a jazz combo.

Violinist Alexandra Keegan and pianist Justin Gray will be on stage Wednesday, September 28, performing violin/keyboard sonatas by Handel and Franck. On Thursday, September 29, the Yuko Maruyama Jazz Trio will play traditional and contemporary jazz.

Both concerts are being held at the Cuyamaca College Performing Arts Theater and begin at 7:30 p.m.

Keegan is a Cuyamaca College instructor who also serves as conductor of the East County Youth Symphony. Gray is the music director of the Welk Resorts Theatre San Diego, as well as the chairman and founder of the San Diego Interfaith Choir and Orchestra.

Maruyama, who has also taught at Cuyamaca College, is a Kawai Pianos recording and performing artist who toured the U.S. with her acclaimed CD, "In Tone Nation."

General admission tickets for the September performances are $8; tickets for students and seniors are $5 each. For more information, call (619) 660-4288.
