NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME AT THE KROC CENTER AUGUST 7

July 28, 2012 (San Diego) – The 29th Annual National Night Out Against Crime will be held at The Salvation Army Kroc Center, Recreation Field, 6845 University Ave., San Diego on August 7 form 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The event features live entertainment, including an interactive Self Defense Demonstration, a chance to meet local police and law enforcement officers, free snacks, giveaways, finger-painting, games, community booths and more.

The event is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and send a message to criminals that the neighborhoods are fighting back.
