The National Weather Service has extended the FLASH FLOOD WATCH for the valleys...mountains...and deserts of extreme southwest California through early evening today.

Monsoonal moisture and daytime heating will continue to bring scattered thunderstorms to the mountains...deserts...and inland valleys through early evening today. Locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding are possible. FLASH FLOOD WATCH remains in effect until midnight PDT tonight.

The FLASH FLOOD WATCH continues for a portion of southwest California...including the following areas...apple and lucerne valleys...coachella valley.

Riverside county mountains...san bernardino county mountains... San bernardino and riverside county valleys-the inland empire...San Diego county deserts...San Diego county mountains and San Diego county valleys.

Until midnight PDT tonight.

Monsoonal moisture and daytime heating will bring scattered thunderstorms to the mountains...deserts...and inland valleys into this evening with locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding possible.
