July 8, 2011 (San Diego) - Native American Flute Players will perform this Sunday, July 10 from 1-3 p.m. at Mission Trails Regional Park.  The group of 4-9 volunteers practice on a variety of flutes in the amphitheater on the Visitor Center's back terrace from 1 to 3:00 pm on the second Sunday of each month.

These practice sessions are open to the public (free).  The melodic music seems particularly well suited to the location, a site whose earliest inhabitants were Kumeyaay Indians and where Native American culture is celebrated and displayed in the Visitor Center's museum and outdoor exhibits.
