December 13, 2017 (El Cajon) – A 20-year-old man is dead and a 17-year-old has been treated for stab wounds following an altercation in the 700 block of East Park Avenue in El Cajon around 7:30 last night.
El Cajon Police officers responded to a report of a fight but arrived to find all participants gone. A citizen had driven the older victim to a trauma center, but he was reportedly dead on arrival. The younger victim was found by officers in an apartment, Patch.com reports.
Lt. Rob Ransweiler has indicated the crimes are believed to be gang related.
